Joseph T. Adamczyk

Mr. Adamczyk focuses his practice on domestic and international patent drafting and prosecution, IP strategy, and due diligence.

Mr. Adamczyk has drafted and prosecuted patent applications for clients of all sizes, from start-ups and individual inventors to Fortune-500 companies. He has extensive experience in medical device patent prosecution, including with catheters, stents, medical imaging systems, diagnostics, implantable devices, and electro-surgical systems. He also has expertise in augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), machine learning, mechanical systems, and life science patent prosecution.

Mr. Adamczyk holds a M.S. in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University and an B.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami. He earned his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law, where he served as Patent Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law Society and an editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. He is a member of the state bar of California and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He works out of the firm’s Palo Alto, California office.
